It is a great privilege and responsibility for our parish to be known as the "Church of the Blessed Sacrament." Our name includes a special call for us as a faith community to be Eucharist-centered. The celebration of the Mass is the heart and soul of our parish life. Designated times for Eucharistic Adoration allow us to continue the adoration of Mass and gaze upon the Lord.
First Communion is generally celebrated in the second grade on the Third Sunday of Easter at a special 12:30 pm Mass. Preparation for First Holy Communion begins at the beginning of the second-grade year.
Holy Communion is brought to our homebound by a team of Extraordinary Ministers. If you or someone you know is unable to make it to Mass, please contact the parish office at (740) 345‑4290 so that we can arrange to have Holy Communion brought to the home.
