Confirmation

"When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim."

Our parish plans to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation again in the Spring of 2025.

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes Baptism. All baptized Catholics should be confirmed by the time they are in high school. Current high school students and adults who are not yet confirmed are invited to call the parish office to begin a plan of preparation to receive the sacrament.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 8th grade school year. Religious education is offered at Blessed Sacrament School and through the Parish School of Religion (PSR). Sacrament preparation is more specific in the 8th grade year and includes a retreat.
